Zombieland: Movies return in the form of a VR video game

Zombieland is probably one of the cinematographic films best known, light-hearted and appreciated themed zombie. The success of the two films seems to have been such as to want to ride the wave by creating a splatter video game themed in VR mode, with the title of Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever. The video game for now confirmed for augmented reality devices such as Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality headsets, and later also for PlayStation VR, will take us back to the narrative universe of Zombieland with the cast of characters appreciated in the two films crowned by a lot of irony about the proverbial rules needed to survive the undead apocalypse. The title will take the form of VR interactive shooter as you can see from the announcement trailer at the bottom of the article and will be full of Zombies to be mowed down with a notable arsenal of weapons editable e upgradeable at will.

Sony Pictures Virtual Reality in collaboration with XR Games they are in fact proud to show the title that will be available this spring for all previously mentioned devices. The title will have numerous features such as one competitive mode in which to compete in exterminating as many zombies as possible and various gameplay mechanics as a form of slow motion after every two consecutive headshots (in Double Shot theme) which will allow you to very quickly fill the screen of the viewers full of blood and virtual entrails in slow motion. There will also be the most iconic characters of the two films such as Tallahassee, Wichita, Columbus e Little Rock, all ready to wreak havoc on brain-eaters with style and comedy.

For those who do not know the context of the two films dedicated to Zombieland, we can make you a quick recovery but we recommend ours review to find out more. However, the story told in the two films of the 2009 and 2019 is set in the typical dystopian universe invaded by millions of undead in constant search of human brains. A classic then, which however has a hard impact with a film format, namely that of comedy. The films are in fact imbued to the core with comedy Black Humor with a frenzied set of jokes e gag in what is generally a context perceived as extremely dramatic and grim. Perhaps this is precisely one of the characteristics that made this couple of films famous to the point of prompting the creators to supervise a dedicated video game.
