Xbox Game Pass: surprises for February 2021, from Code Vein to DiRT 5

Through the pages of the official portal dedicated to the Xbox universe, Microsoft products unveiled today the games that will be offered for free between the pages of the catalog of the subscription service Xbox Game Pass. The new wave of titles will start from 18 February, to end on 25. Titles of the caliber of Code Vein by Bandai Namco and the beautiful Pillars of Eternity 2 will enrich an already monstrous offer.

On February 18th they will be released on the Xbox Game Pass catalog Code Vein, Pillars of Eternity 2 e Wreckfest. February 23 will be the turn of Killer Queen Black and on February 25 the new wave will end with DiRT 5 e Superhot: Mind Control Delete. Code Vein is an action RPG developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, and made its debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on September 27, 2019 (here our review). Pillars of Eternity 2 is the second installment of the fantasy RPG saga developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The title was released in 2018 for PC and consoles, including Nintendo's little hybrid, Switch (missed our review? Fix it now!).

Wreckfest belongs, like DiRT 5, to the racing game genre. The title developed by Bugbear Entertainment and published by THQ Nordic it is intended as an arcade and adrenaline experience and is considered the spiritual successor of FlatOut. DiRT 5 of Codemasters is the splendid and colorful title of Codemasters that, between one drift and another, we have reviewed here. Then we have Killer Queen Black, a title belonging to the genre of real-time strategy titles, mixed with some classic platform mechanics. It was released in August 2013 in Arcade version and then landed on Windows PC, MacOS X and Niuntendo Switch in October 2019. Finally, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, stand-alone expansion which does not require the basic version of the game (Superhot, in fact), belonging to the genre of first-person shooters and originally published in 2016 for PC, MacOS X and Linux, until arriving on Google Stadia in June 2020.
