Will Tom Holland be the protagonist of the Atlantis live-action?

Disney has a live-action remake of his 41st 2001 animated classic known as Atlantis - The Lost Empire directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise.

Tom Holland, who has now become famous for having interpreted Spider-Man in the last films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, would be the best choice to lend their performance to protagonist Milo James Thatch according to the We Got This Covered website.

The animated film, set in 1914, revolves around the young cartographer and linguist Milo, who learned from his grandfather Taddeus of a manuscript which provides the key to the discovery of the lost city Atlantis; he will try to convince the advisors of the museum in which he works that he is able to unravel this mystery about the existence or otherwise of the city. Unfortunately, the answer is not the best and he is considered a fool to believe he can dispel this legend. But all is not lost; in fact, Milo is summoned by the elderly billionaire and philanthropist Preston B. Whitmore, who in addition to showing him the manuscript also tells him that he intends to finance his expedition in search of Atlantis. Together with the two protagonists to be part of the team in charge of the mission there will be several experts in numerous fields such as geology, demolition, mechanics and medicine under the guidance of Commander Rourke.

The film had a good success in its time, and we are sure that a new return to Atlantis is something everyone likes.
