Will Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 see the return of Darth Maul?

Will Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 see the return of Darth Maul?

Although there is currently no confirmation that the guys from Respawn Entertainment are actually working on the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, several rumors would not only suggest that the title is in development but that it should include the Return of one of the most popular villains in the entire Star Wars universe, that is Darth Maul. But let's start with order. According to the rumors that have emerged in the last few hours, the new adventure of Cal Kestis should resume immediately after the epilogue of the previous title and introduce in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 theHell Squad, command unit of the imperial special forces led by Iden Versio, led by the goal of eradicating the Dreamers, former members of the partisans of Saw Gerrera.

This hypothesis would make absolutely sense, given that in the previous title Gerrera and Cal worked together to free the Wookiees on Kashyyyk, an affair that ended with the first offering the young Jedi a place in the Partisans. Therefore, the possibility that Kestis may somehow join the team cannot be ruled out. But that's not all, given that according to the source the rest of the Imperial Inquisition will appear in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2, and that although the Second and Ninth Sisters were quite formidable enemies, a Terrelian inquisitor is expected to make an appearance in the sequel.

The only Terrelian inquisitor in existence is the eighth brother, in charge of hunting down Darth Maul in the events of Star Wars Rebels. Although he is an extremely skilled fighter, but also very impulsive, his hunt for the now former Dark Lord of the Sith will fail. These rumors would find further confirmation from recent home talks Respawn Entertainment, who would intend to bring Maul back into the game even if only for a cameo, and that the latter will be voiced again by Sam Witwer, who got to lend his voice to the character already in Rebels.

Last, but not least, the leaker states that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will be launched at the end of 2022, while the highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront 3 will be revealed very soon. Waiting to find out more details, perhaps official, on the next adventures of Cal Kestis, we remind you to take this information with due precautions, since at the moment it is simple rumors and speculations.
