Will Red Dead Redemption 3 see the return of a beloved character?

Will Red Dead Redemption 3 see the return of a beloved character?

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 only came out in 2018, many fans are starting to clamor for a third installment of the series. Of the same opinion it would seem to be the same Rob Wiethoff, actor known to many for dubbing John Marston in the highly acclaimed videogame saga of Rockstar Games, who in a recent interview with Dan Allen Gaming's microphones expressed an interest in wanting to reprise his role as the famous cowboy in a hypothetical Red Dead Redemption 3.

According to what emerged from the chat, the American actor and voice actor has no idea if the New York software house has plans to make RDR3, but reiterated that if there was the possibility, he would resume the role immediately. Wiethoff he also noted that Rockstar takes a long time to create their games, so if he were involved in the new project he would be forced to move with his entire family (to avoid being separated for several years). Here are his words:

If they ask me, of course I will. If they don't, I'm sure it will still be a really, really great game, just like the first two. If it was up to me alone, I'd accept in a second.

But that's not all, since the actor during his chat with Dan Allen Gaming did not rule out the possibility of being involved in the next GTA 6, even in the form of a simple cameo. At the moment Rockstar has not confirmed in any way that a third chapter of the highly appreciated videogame saga set in the Far West is in the works, so we advise you to take this news with due precautions, since there is nothing certain.

Despite a return of John Marston it seems rather unlikely to us, also considering how its lore ends in the first RDR, it would not surprise us if the US giant decides to replicate the success of the first two games, creating a Red Dead Redemption 3. Waiting to learn more about the story, we remind you that RDR2 is available for purchase on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia and also playable on Sony and Microsoft next-gen consoles thanks to their backward compatibility.
