Very little is missing from the theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame, expected for April 24, 2019, but fans are becoming more and more creative and imaginative in generating theories about the defeat of Thanos. Among the many speculations there was also the funny theory that saw Ant-Man shrink so much that he penetrated Thanos' anus, and then defeated him from the inside returning to life size. A somewhat ridiculous way to defeat your enemy, but certainly imaginative.
And precisely in an interview with the Los Angeles Times brothers Anthony and Joe Russo (the directors of Avengers: Endgame) they joked about this fanciful fan theory renamed by them with the name Thanus. Below you will find their statements:
Thanus is truly the most ridiculous and hilarious fan theory we have ever read. But I have to admit she is quite creative. I want to know who invented it!
Also in the same article we also find a statement from Paul Rudd, the interpreter of Ant-Man, who asked about this theory and expressed himself as follows:
To do it, I asked for a lot of money! But I must admit I laughed a lot when I learned how much this story had spread among the fans.
It therefore seems that Ant-Man will not defeat the powerful Thanos, or rather, he certainly will not do it in this way. So we just have to wait a few more days to find out what awaits us in Avengers: Endgame, but in the meantime we propose some of our theories.
