Wholesome Direct: announced the showcase that will host over 50 games

With the sad cancellation of multiple events dedicated to the gaming world due to the Coronavirus, the list of new digital showcases is constantly updated. Wholesome Direct it will be one of these and intends to draw attention to some of the most promising and genuine games, especially as regards indies. The presentation will be held already next week, more precisely this Tuesday 26st May pm 19:00 live streaming on their official Youtube channel.

Announced via the Twitter account of Wholesome Games, will have a rather substantial list of names: "Look forward to exclusive videos and announcements of games such as Ooblets, Spiritfarer, SkateBird, Little Witch In The Woods, Garden Story, Chicory, Rainy Season and many others", apparently we are talking about more than 50 games hosted. The developers have hinted that 2020 is "the year of Oob“, However, they haven't announced a release date yet, so we can expect to know more as early as next Tuesday. It will also appear Book Of Travels, a "tiny online multiplayer game" that comes directly from the creators of the series Shelter.

The graphics and style of the event clearly trace the footsteps left by Nintendo Direct: logically we don't know how many will land on Nintendo Switch, but in all likelihood a large part of these titles will arrive on Nintendo's hybrid console. Another digital showcase very similar to this one is the Guerrilla Collective, of which if you are interested we will tell you more in our article.
