Arrives Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave - the third triumphant season of the competitive home miniatures game GW. The publisher states:
“We've taken everything you love from the previous two seasons of Warhammer Underworlds and we have perfected it further, giving you the ultimate experience of Warhammer Underworlds".
We therefore expect an even more refined rule set, well-designed game mechanics, an unusual new card design and some amazing new warbands.
By the way, let's take a look at the protagonists of the new core set: i Draknar's Ravagers he Skaeth's Wild Hunt. In this season of Warhammer Underworlds, the game designers of GW they worked closely with the team of miniaturists to create an incredible range of warbands. For example i Draknar's Ravagers are a bunch of Beastmen fast, deadly and cunning. This new band brings with it dark magic and the wonder of Beasts of Chaos in a brand new game system. The models look great too, check out the early Gor, Ungors and Great Bray Shaman specially designed for the Mortal Realms.
In the meantime, the Skaeth's Wild Hunt offers us new insights into the inhabitants of the Mortal Realms with our first look at the Kurnothi - half-elf creatures with a wild style of their own. Offering a fast and highly skilled group of fighters, they are a deadly and flexible warband capable of taking down enemies at any distance.
Beastgrave also takes us to another underworld of the Mortal Realm, as the game setting moves into the wild depths of Ghur. Il Necroquake permanently damaged the City of Mirrors, causing it to bleed into the ancient mountain known as Beastgrave. While the curse of the Katophranes creeps into the long dormant mountain, wild powers awaken, where streets are paved with shadowy glass streets emerging from bone columns and living amber catacombs. Just like in previous seasons of Warhammer Underworlds, we will discover the mysterious history of the Beastgrave in the art and texts of the cards.
