WandaVision: Disney fired a voice actor for a spoiler

WandaVision: Disney fired a voice actor for a spoiler

Since last 15st January on the streaming platform Disney + the first episodes of the TV series are available WandaVision, first series produced by Marvel Studies centered around Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), which kicked off the Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Spanish voice actor Rodri Martin, who voiced Evan Peters in X-Men Days of Future Past (among others), posted a message a couple of weeks ago via his official Twitter profile stating that he would soon be back to dub Pietro Maximoff in WandaVision. The tweet and the voice actor's profile were removed soon after. As highlighted by the Cinexcepcion portal, through the credits of the fifth episode it was confirmed that Rodri Martin was fired from the role of voice actor from Marvel Studios and the Wald Disney Company for spoiling one of the main twists of the episode in question. Martin was replaced by Manuel Gimeno (Madd Murdock / Daredevil, Charlie Cox, in the Netflix series about Hell's Kitchen Devil).

Before proceeding with the next paragraph, know that you will encounter some spoilers. Continue, therefore, at your own risk, we have warned you: in recent days, rumors have multiplied on social networks regarding the ending of the fifth episode of WandaVision which marked the entry of Evan Peters in the MCU as Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver), a character that the same actor had already played in the X-Men saga of 20th Century Fox. The presence of Peters in the cast had already been therefore subject of rumor for several weeks, but despite this, Disney has decided to take this serious measure against Rodri Martin, guilty of not having respected the non-disclosure agreements provided for in the contract in place with Disney and with Marvel Studios.
