The first thing to do absolutely is to manufacture a workbench and the foundry, for which we refer you to our dedicated guide.

The seeds in Valheim

In Valheim, finding seeds will be one of the simplest things, it is not excluded that when you decide to sow them, in reality you will already have them in your inventory without realizing it. They can usually be found on the ground and are usually quite easy to spot, being large and bright. Now that you have your beautiful seeds, you will have to organize yourself to plant them, but to do so, you will have to work on them a little.

The grower

The equipment required is the cultivator, and like all other tools, you will have to create it, but you cannot do it until you have defeated the first boss of the game. Eikthyr the Stag. You will need 5 wood and 5 bronze, using the workbench and foundry.

Plant the seeds using the cultivator

If you plow a piece of land you will turn it into arable land. When you find a piece of land, all you have to do is equip the cultivator, transform the land into agricultural land and plant the seeds that interest you. Avoid grouping too many seeds in one spot, as there is a limit to the number of seeds that can grow in a small area. If you distribute them carefully they will turn into adult plants. Growth times vary by plant, but it will take at least a few play days to see results. You will only be able to harvest a plant when it has reached full maturity.
