Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online: fully digital event announced

The world health situation has prevented the normal development of many scheduled events, of any scope, at least as the various organizers had initially planned. One of these is the Tokyo Game Show 2020 which, about a month ago, it was deleted for the insecurity of adequate medical supervision for convetion of this kind.

This morning the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association announced the official alternative for this iconic September event: the Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online. Scheduled to be done from 24 to 27 September this year, through the official website of the event, inside are provided several ads of “games and services not only from the biggest publishers in the industry, but even from independent studios”. Everything will be done with streaming programs, unreleased videos and websites created on the occasion of this digital convention. Along with the announcements, personalities from the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association confirmed they are organizing official eSports tournaments for the event which, in addition to broadcasting the games live, will inform about news regarding the products played. Finally, there are even some real round tables with the discussions on the latest industry news videogame. Obviously, what we have listed so far we will see broadcast free of charge for fans from all over the world.

Currently the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association is accepting requests for exhibitors, together with those for the “Selected Exhibit” of the Indie Game area and for the competition for the best videogame idea this year (the competition is called “Sense of Wonder Night 2020”). Unfortunately, currently we don't know any of the companies who are planning to participate in this Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online. While waiting to discover the interesting news planned for this particular edition, we point out that at the New Game + Expo titles of the caliber of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 have been announced.
