THQ Nordic is happy to announce the acquisition of the software house Tarsier Studios, the creators of the title Little Nightmares 2. The announcement was made not many hours ago by THQ Nordic who still wanted to specify how the acquired studio will remain completely autonomous. Purchased through your own company Embracer GROUP, it was immediately stated that the new study will be supported with long-term investments for the creation of new IPs. These are the words released by Lars Wingefors, CEO of Embracer Group:

“We are all happy and excited about the position and the team that Tarsier has built over its 15 years of development. Just look at all the great reviews their productions have received and its future ambitions. Together with Tarsier we want to invest and produce new content, new intellectual properties in the exact same way they have done so well in the past. We can't wait to marry the quality, skill and creativity of the studio to take it to the next level "

Answer came the words of the head of Tarsier Studios:

“It is exciting after a 15 year journey with Tarsier to be able to team up with Embracer to continue developing and delivering titles with tremendous potential thanks to the 'fusion' of so many talented talents. We are happy with the opportunity given to us and to continue to produce high quality games together with Embracer ”.
