Press Windows Logo + R key to open Run.

Type regedit. exe in the Run dialog box and press Enter.

In the left pane, navigate to the following directory:

In the left pane, click the SoftwareProtectionPlatform folder to view its contents in the right pane.

If there is a problem with your computer's slmgr.vbs file that is causing the command line to run incorrectly, here's what you need to do:

Open your computer.

Double-click the hard drive partition where Windows 7 is installed.

Locate and double-click on a folder named System32.
