Despite all the controversy due to the recurring themes and the ways in which they are treated, the last season of Thirteen will be available soon. A to break the news was the same Netflix with a video just published on the official Youtube profile, entitled "We will say goodbye". The video shows the young actors on the set during the last shoot, moved and thrilled to have finished their adventure. To announce the release date is the writing "on June 5th, we will say goodbye“, Inserted between the various images. The guys from Liberty High are ready to face the last year of high school, marked by the events that happened in the past. Bullying, violence ed murders have always been part of the protagonists' lives, making the series poor in lightness. A suicide, a revolt and a murder are in fact the events on which the three previous series revolve, sparking not a few controversies. One of the most important was the one that forced the producers to remove one of the main scenes of the first season, accusing them of going so far as to instigate the boys to suicide. We don't know much about the plot of this last fourth season, nor how the producers intend to end it, but we have some news regarding some new entries in the cast:
- Jan Luis Castellanos - known to fans of Marvel TV series for playing Topher in the second season of Runaways - will be Diego Torres, the grumpy new captain of the Liberty High football team. He will not have an easy life within the team given the void left by the former captain Bryce, who passed away in the third season.
- Gary Sinise, Oscar nominated for his participation in Forrest Gump, will be the detective Mac Taylor. Struggling with various investigations, he will help the protagonist Clay and other kids struggling to get through the hardest times and depression caused by previous events.
