One of the most loved games of the past generation, as well as winner of numerous awards, and goose that lays golden eggs for the Polish software house CD Projekt RED, it certainly is The Witcher 3. The witcher has been able to make himself loved by millions and millions of fans and players, so much so that he has even been represented in a TV series Netflix dedicated to him. Therefore, we would hardly have done without seeing it on the current generation consoles. Through a tweet released on the official page, we learn today that The Witcher 3 on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S will arrive in a few months.
Not a definite release date, but a more generic "second half of the 2021". This new version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition, which will be available on the current generation consoles and on PC, will be released both in a standalone version and for those who already own the title on the respective old-gen console. Improvements are obviously on the agenda, especially those on the technical side. In fact, the Ray Tracing which will significantly improve the overall light quality, there will be gods even faster uploads within the game and, overall, a large number of improvements and bug fixes.
For those who own the original game and want to get the future version (which will obviously be purchased independently for those who want it), just enter The Witcher 3 in PS5, in the case of the version PS4, or in the reader of Xbox Series X, in the case of the version Xbox One. Su PC instead you can download the free update directly.
Only a definite and official release date is missing before being able to go back to playing the role of Geralt of Rivia in the wonderful game world created by the boys of CD Projekt RED, the authors of Cyberpunk 2077.
