The Taipei Game Show 2020 has been postponed due to the coronavirus

In the past few hours the organizers of the Taipei Game Show 2020, which would be held from the 6 9 February, communicated the decision to postpone the event due to the spread of the coronavirus. Originally popular in Wuhan (China), the virus has begun to infect people abroad as well. They currently register in Taiwan 213 victims and more than 9.100 infected. We report below what was declared by the organizers of the Taipei Game Show:

We deeply regret to announce a different decision by our committee. The Taipei Game Show 2020 was originally scheduled for February 6 to February 9. However, due to the severe outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus, we have decided to postpone the event until this summer.

Considering that mass gatherings like our show increase the chance of infections, the organizing committee has decided to move away from such risks. We sincerely ask the exhibitors for understanding on such an important decision. Details on the postponement will be discussed carefully and will be announced in the coming days.

The location remains unchanged at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. The time and date will be communicated in the coming days by the committee, as well as for the team that is still deciding to withdraw from the events. We will announce the refund or settlement to all attendees.
