Just a few days ago, the famous director and screenwriter James Gunn had been complicit in a new and possible trailer for The Suicide Squad, the very first film of the cinecomic DC Films preceded only by Zack Snyder's Justice League. For a very long time, fans have been waiting impatiently to see the work of the artist who, on his direct admission, confirmed to be late. Both the film and the first real presentation trailer weren't ready yet… until now! As you can see in the post Instagram released on his official personal page, tomorrow, Friday March 26, will be the "D1" of trailer, the day we will see the film he made for the first time.
The post, really meager of information if not a quoted sentence that reads: “Tomorrow. Trailer. See you there. " (Tomorrow. Trailer. We see them), anticipates very little, nothing in reality. Even the attached image is simply a screen that anticipates the expected movie where the classic phrases of rights and more appear. A reveal with a strong impact, which, however, almost wants to hide. This is the official synopsis of the film:
“Welcome to Hell - aka Bell Reve, the prison with the highest death rate in the United States of America. The worst supervillains are kept here and will do anything to get out of it, even join the super secret, super dark project Task Force X. Today's "do-or-die" assignment? Put together a collection of minions, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2. Plus Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone's favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then arm them heavily and drop them (literally) on the remote island of Corto Maltese, overrun by the enemy.
With the hope that the release of the film will remain unchanged or at least not delay further, we look forward to tomorrow to finally discover the trailer for The suicide squad.
