The Sinking City release date has been postponed

Bigben e Frogswares have announced that they have moved the release date of The Sinking City. Originally the title was supposed to be released on May 21, 2019. The new release date is June 27. No technical reasons or development problems, however, at the basis of this decision. The developers explained the reason for the postponement with a dedicated video (visible at the bottom): the intention is to avoid a too crowded period of releases.

Set in the 20s, The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game with an open world structure inspired by the works of the famous American writer HP Lovecraft. The player will play the role of a newly arrived private investigator in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts - a city that is suffering from an unprecedented series of floods of supernatural origins. The player will have to discover the source of what has taken possession of the city and the minds of its inhabitants. The Sinking City will be available from June 27, 2019 on PC, PlayStation4 and Xbox One.
