The Sims 3: how to activate cheats

The key sequence to activate the cheat menu in The Sims 3

 

When your family is in a house, pause the game and hold
LB + LT + RB + RT. A message will notify you that Spoot is available in the "Miscellaneous Decorations". Put it in the living room and all the tricks of the game will become available.

Note: activating the cheats will not be able to unlock the achievements. Keep in mind that it is still possible to save the game before activating the cheats, use them at will and then resume from the saved point and continue to unlock the achievements.
