The guys of Obsidian Entertainment are working on the second major expansion for The Outer Worlds, first person action role-playing game released on October 25, 2019. It's been a while, but apparently a second DLC is finally on the way by the end of the fiscal year, at least according to the production company's report. Take-Two. Therefore, Murder on Eridanos (Murder on Eridanos), could arrive by March 31, 2021.
No further details have been added by the American company, not even some gameplay videos, but certainly something will be shown before its official release. The financial statement also shows thearrival of the first DLC of The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch which, as also announced on the official website of Obsidian Entertainment, will be available from tomorrow, February 10, 2021, after having been previously postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.
As already happened for Danger on Gorgon, we expect that the cap of the level will be further increased from 33 upwards, and that new scientific weapons, armor, bonuses and penalties for the character will also be added here. Most likely new game maps will be added among which, given the name, we expect Eridanos to be visited as well.
With Murder on Eridanos we are talking about a "second part" of the first Danger on Gorgon expansion, released on 9 September 2020. The two DLCs are linked to each other and, those who have been attentive to the information released by the development team, will know that the story would seem to focus on Halcyon Helen, from the fantasy show Terror on Monarch, which will proceed towards its epilogue in this second expansion coming soon. For more detailed information we just have to wait for good new more official ones, probably coming soon with some announcements.
We remind you that The Outer Worlds is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One X / S and also on Nintendo Switch, and that you can find our review of the game at this link.
