    The Mandalorian: Timothy Olyphant will wear Boba Fett's armor

    The Hollywood Reporter recently broke the news that the actor Timothy Olyphant joined the cast of the second season of The Mandalorian, the beloved TV series set in the universe of Star Wars. According to recent statements Timothy Olyphant, the Deadwood and Santa Clarita Diet actor, will wear the iconic armor of Boba Fett but he won't play the beloved bounty hunter.



    Olyphant will play a character named Cobb Vanth, first appeared in the Chuck Wendig Aftermath series of novels. In the books, Vanth is a self-appointed sheriff of a Tatooine settlement known as Freetown. The character dons Fett's Mandalorian armor from a group of Jawas who swept away the wreck of the Jabba the Hutt sailing barge following the events of Return of the Jedi. We just have to wait for what his character has in store for us.

    The first season of The Mandalorian, consisting of eight episodes, it was a great success with critics and audiences. The second season will debut exclusively on Disney + in October 2020. The series has already been renewed for a third season, the pre-production of which has already begun. The screenplay for the various episodes was handled by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Christopher Yost and Rick Famuyiwa.
