SECURITY UPDATE TRAINING: a few hours after the aforementioned email, as easy to predict, The Lord of the Ring: Gollum it was officially postponed to the new year 2022.
Although the news is not yet fully official, as no direct communication from the developer or distributor company to the various newspapers or via social media has been communicated, during the day today a private communication has come out that portends a possible delay of The Lord of the Ring: Gollum. In detail, an email from Dead Good PR announced the start of a collaboration between developers Daedalic Entertainment (the software house author of the game) and the publisher NACON which, as communicated in the letter, shows a release date different from the one that is currently in force, or a more generic one 2022.
The Lord of the Ring: Gollum is currently in development on all major consoles such as Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC and, at present, it reports a different release date although it is still a generic 2021. At the moment so it is not entirely clear if the game will hit the shelves during this recently started year or if we would have to wait several months before we can get our hands on it. It could therefore be a simple error or a communication not yet formalized. There are many titles that in recent times have undergone several postponements as a result of the large amounts of work to be sustained, and this would not scandalize us that much.
Announced in March 2019, the title will particularly exploit all the new features of the controller Dualense of PlayStation 5, one of a kind, such as haptic feedback. It will also take advantage of new technologies such as Ray-tracing which, more and more, are starting to become standard also for new generation titles. The team also spoke brilliantly about the game's combat system and mini-games with dialogue options. All that remains is to wait and wait for the postponement to be official or not.
