The YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits has released a video showing a version comparison For PS4 e PS5 di The Last of Us Part 2. Of course, the current-gen version of the title has not yet been released Naughty Dog, it's just a simulation of what it might look like.
It took about 30 hours to render the simulated version. This is a big job, but it allows us to get an idea of what the upgraded version of the game might look like on PlayStation 5. Already on PlayStation 4 the exclusive Sony it was graphically sublime, but this new version will only be able to further improve the already excellent work done on the previous generation.
In the PlayStation 5 version, it runs in 4K is 60fps images and writings appear sharper. The models visible in the distance are clearer and more defined and in general they enjoy a better yield. Snow, water and grass are shown to be more realistic and with brighter colors. Also there mane and tail of the horse are more detailed.
In addition, a significantly optimized loading time is also simulated. As is known the hardware power of PlayStation 5 allows significantly reduced loading times, which among other things is one of the most advertised and most appreciated features. The video shows how the same loading of the same scene takes 8 seconds on PlayStation 5, against 41 for PlayStation 4 Pro, a very important gap.
The improvements are quite important and we hope that the real and non-simulated version is actually like this or even that is able to surpass that shown in the video. We just have to wait for the upgrade for PlayStation 5, which at the moment we don't know if and when it will come out.
Recall that The Last of Us Part 2 is the direct sequel to the first chapter, and sees one Ellie grown up in search of her own personal revenge. If you would like to know more about the game, we leave you to our review, accessible from here.
