We've actually finished much of the writing. So now I know most of the season.
But, will filming begin only in 2021? I mean, I think it will take so long. It's a crazy world we live in, but hopefully the goal is early '21.
So, although the showrunner has already "fixed" the resumption of work at the beginning of 2021, at the moment it is not clear when the series of The Boys will come back up Prime Video with new episodes. The production of the second season took place from June to November 2019, while the first episodes were released on the well-known Amazon streaming platform only last year.
