    The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, new details on the development of the DLC

    Through a recent tweet, Edmund McMillen has disseminated interesting information on the state of development of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, the new DLC of the famous roguelike coming this year. The game designer has stated that the expansion is still in development and, due to the problems related to the pandemic, it will arrive later than expected. In fact, bosses, objects, cutscenes and more have yet to be added to finish the work on it.



    Repentance is obviously still under development. We still need to add a few more bosses, items, a cutscene or 2, and more. Our goal was to publish it by the end of the summer, but due to the delay caused by the pandemic, it may take longer.

    Repentance will be the fourth expansion for The Binding of Isaac which, since its release in 2011, has achieved great success with both audiences and critics. The title is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Below is the tweet:
