The Batman: the director talks about the Batmobile and the Batcave

During the DC FanDome the first trailer of The Batman, film by Matt Reeves which sees the actor appearing as Bruce Wayne / Batman Robert PattinsonThe trailer, lasting about 2 minutes, shows some interesting scenes related to the film, giving a first interpretation of what this film could tell. Speaking of the film, director Matt Reeves talked in depth about what it meant to him to design the Batcave and Batmobile, two fixed points belonging to the mythology of dark Knight:

One of the things that needs to be done is to design his costume, the Batmobile, the Batcave and so on. So this for me was one of the most exciting things, even before we were done with the last draft of the script it was quite clear the imprint I wanted to give while writing. The Batcave, the Batmobile, the costume took a long time, as I wrote I imagined him in the suit fighting. I would say we spent a year making the costume and then the Batmobile and, I mean, that part is a dream, making your own version of the Batmobile. When you immerse yourself in the idea of this character-linked machine - a concrete version of the character - you look at the rough seams and imagine how it all works… it was an incredible gift to be able to do that.

In the cast of The Batman, in addition to the aforementioned Robert Pattinson, we'll see Zoë Kravitz, as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano, as Edward Nashton / Riddler; Jeffrey Wright, in the role of James Gordon; John Turturro, in the role of Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard, as Gotham District Attorney Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson, in the role of candidate for mayor Bella Reál, Andy Serkis, in the role of Alfred; is Colin Farrell, in the role of Oswald Cobblepot.
