Street Fighter 6 and Monster Hunter for Switch will be announced shortly, according to an insider

A few hours ago the well-known insider Dusk Golem, through its official page on Twitter, has published a series of posts regarding the current situation of Capcom. In one of these he talks about how at the beginning of this 2020, precisely last February, he himself said in a tweet that the Japanese software house would show the public four new major projects, and that two of those would be inherent in the Resident Evil series. These two titles turned out to be the remake of Resident Evil 3 e Resident evil village, announced last June 11 during the presentation event of PlayStation 5. Well, today the insider confirmed that the other two games that the Japanese house would have in the pipeline are Street Fighter 6 it's a new chapter of Monster Hunter for Nintendo Switch.

Dusk Golem goes on to say that Resident Evil Village development has undergone a major development delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which could affect the eventual release date in the first quarter of 2021, but that Capcom is still pushing hard to release the title by the end of this fiscal year. As for instead Street Fighter 6 it would seem that this title too should have been released by the end of next March, but due to several internal problems in the development team born after the resignation of the historic game director Yoshinori ono there were serious delays in the creation of the game. These upheavals, in addition of course to the pandemic in progress, have caused a considerable delay in the processing times of the fighting game title, postponing the eventual arrival in stores for another year, with a good chance that the title will therefore already be optimized for next-gen consoles Xbox Series X e PlayStation 5.

Finally regarding the announcement of a new one Monster Hunter for Nintendo Switch, according to Dusk Golem the announcement of the title would be imminent, also because according to him this new chapter of the action series combined with Resident Evil Village will be the two titles that will accompany Capcom until the close of the current fiscal year. For now we do not have official news yet, but if what the insider said is true, we will probably be able to see the new Monster Hunter among the protagonists of the next Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, expected for the next September 17th.
