Grubb reiterated that there is a 90% of possibilities that things go exactly this way, excluding any kind of delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In any case, it will still be interesting to understand how Microsoft will manage the distribution of Starfield. According to what was said in a recent interview with Todd Howard, according to him it would be really strange to see the release of a similar title like Xbox exclusive, while some statements by Microsoft executives lean more towards a probable exclusive launch, as it is the prerogative of the Redmond giant to provide unique and attractive experiences for the service Xbox Game Pass. We will see how the situation will evolve, which could actually be disadvantageous for all players who currently do not have systems to play Xbox exclusives.
