Star Wars, youtubers create a really working lightsaber

Definitely the success of Star Wars it shows no sign of dying, especially thanks to the new sequel trilogy for the big screen and the TV series The Mandalorian of Disney +, which are attracting more and more new audiences to this huge franchise born in 1977 from the mind of George Lucas. The importance of this multimedia universe has created a huge group of fans, who over the years have shown their love for this saga through tides of fanart, independent comics and above all cosplay. The desire to always be as faithful as possible in their disguises has led more and more fans to create costumes and instruments as realistic as possible, which has prompted the well-known youtubers of Hacksmith Industries to create a laser sword really working.

In one of their most famous videos, the YouTube blacksmiths managed to recreate a kind of plasma flamethrower which reaches a heat of almost 4000%, which with its very narrow and long jet looks just like a Star Wars lightsaber. In this video the boys, obviously with the right precautions and in the most suitable space, try this space weapon on many objects and surfaces, including an armored metal door, which is melted as if it were butter, and a mannequin of one Stromtrooper, which, as expected, is easily pierced.

We invite you to take a look at the original video that you can find on the official YouTube channel of Hacksmith Industries, while at the bottom of the news we leave you a small video of the highlights that the guys from IGN posted a few hours ago on their Twitter profile official. Who knows that in the future these blacksmiths will not try to recreate other famous 'props' from Star Wars, such as a robot of the unit R2-D2 actually working or - why not - even a scale reproduction of the spaceship Millennium Falcon!
