In a international trailer di Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker recently released unpublished images were shown. The most significant new sequence sees the Millennium Falcon in grave danger, having to contend with a giant alien. The Star Wars saga is full of scenes where the Falcon is in danger along with the crew members. About this the director J.J. Abrams, former director of A new hope, admitted to adoring these sequences. In an interview with the site Uproxx said:
When you look at the Falcon or a Destroyer, you think you've seen those spaceships in all kinds of situations. Usually in space or when they are leaving or landing on a planet or asteroid. The idea of having the option of the Falcon bursting in the trees or barely taking off from Jakku are fun ways to use it.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released in US cinemas starting December 20, 2019, and in Spanish cinemas from December 18.
