Star Wars: here are all the TV series announced at Disney Investor Day 2020

The highly anticipated was held in the past few hours Disney Investor Day 2020, during which the US multinational communicated the main film projects, and more, which will see the light in the coming years. After an avalanche of Marvel Studios and Pixar themed ads, Kathleen Kennedy, co-director general of Lucasfilm, illustrated the upcoming TV series set in the galaxy far, far from Star Wars which will soon debut exclusively on Disney +.



Rangers of the New Republic

At the moment we do not know when it will debut on the streaming platform of the Mickey Mouse house Rangers of the New Republic, new original Disney + series, although it will follow the same timeline as The Mandalorian and will be developed and created by Jon Favreau e Dave Filoni. Obi-Wan Kenobi

We already knew of the existence of the TV series dedicated to the famous Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi, but more details have finally been released. Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that the events will be set 10 years after the dramatic events of "Revenge of the Sith", and in addition to Ewan McGregor also Hayden Christensen will return to take on the role of Darth Vader on the show.

Ahsoka

Among the announcements of Disney's Investor Day we also find the TV series dedicated to Anakin Skywalker's Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, recently appeared in the fifth episode of the second season of The Mandalorian. At the moment we know that the young Jedi will be played by Rosario Dawson and that the events will take place in the same timeline as the show of Mando and "Baby Yoda".

Lando

Visions

Kathleen Kennedy announced Vision, an original series of animated short films made by the best Japanese anime creators, with the aim of celebrating the Star Wars galaxy. Fortunately, the launch window of the show, set for 2021, has been announced.

Another show that will debut in 2022 exclusively on Disney + is WILLOW, original series Lucasfilm with Warwick Davis and pilot directed by Jon M. Chu. At the moment, except for the launch window, very few details are known about the new production set in the Star Wars universe.

Andor

Finally we find the announcement of the highly anticipated series dedicated to the character of Cassian andor, that will debut exclusively on the streaming platform of the Mickey Mouse house in 2022. As the tweet states, “Everything I did, I did for the rebellion,” so it seems very likely that the latter will be the central focus of the show.
