Through a Tweet, in fact, we were able to find out what Square Enix has registered a mysterious trademark in Japan called Forspoken. Other than this name, we still don't know anything about what it might be, although we expect a new game rather than something completely different. Although the style and name may actually refer to its most famous saga, unfortunately nothing confirms a direct connection with the new Final Fantasy XVI. This strange brand it could also be related to Project Athia, the title still shrouded in mystery that was revealed along with the presentation of PlayStation 5. Or, simply, it could be something completely new: although it is difficult to imagine that Square Enix releases a game simply titled Forspoken, we can expect anything from the software house Japanese. However, Forspoken is not the only trademark registered by the Japanese company on September 24: the other two trademarks are A Hero's Bond e Nenkon Kihan, with the latter not yet having an official English localization. For the moment, however, Square Enix has not yet unbuttoned on many of the intellectual properties we can expect on next-gen, and it is not yet known what games are hidden behind these titles, nor if they could possibly be subtitles of works with a different and more famous primary title.
