Spider-Man: Miles Morales, haptic feedback will be an integral part of the gameplay

Now very little is missing for the return of one of the superheroes The Marvel movies most famous in the world on PlayStation 5. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales it will in fact be one of the launch titles of the next-gen console of Sony, and will see the continuation of the web shooter adventures started on PlayStation 4. The new title of Insomniac Games will arrive on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, but those who buy it on the new generation will be able to take advantage of some new technologies implemented on the DualSense.

In the last issue of PlayStation Official Magazine, 180, much has been written about the new PlayStation 5 controller, the DualSense, and its new features. Speaking of Miles Morales, the creative director Brian Horton said haptic feedback will be an integral part of the new title. It will in fact be fundamental in combat, as happens for example with Miles' attack called "Venom Blasts". During this attack, by holding the square button to charge the shot, the player will feel Spider-Man's bio-electricity pass through the left side of the controller, then culminate on the right side following impact. The haptic feedback will then be also important during the stealth phases of the gameplay, although more precise information has not been released at present. The accuracy of the haptic feedback will then allow players to feel the direction of enemy attacks through some signals coming from the same controller. Thanks to the high reactivity of this new DualSense technology, therefore, many different sensations can be transmitted during the gaming experience.

The remake of Demon's Souls It will not therefore be the only PlayStation 5 title to benefit from this brand new way to experience next generation games. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, in its standard version and in the Ultimate Edition, will arrive on PlayStation 5 on November 19th here in Europe. We just have to wait for its release to touch the new potential of DualSense and this brand new haptic feedback.
