In the past few weeks the same Sony confirmed, through a post on his main social profiles, that he is working on second chapter of Spider-Man: A New Universe with fixed outlet for April 8 2022. In the last few hours it has emerged that, in the new adventure starring Miles Morales, there could be it Japanese Spider-Man. After the announcement of the sequel to "A new universe" Shannon Tindle, creator of the animated film Kubo and the Two Strings, contacted the producers Phil Lord e Chris Miller on Twitter, offering himself available to carry out Takuya Yamashiro's project, also known as Japanese Spider-Man, for the highly anticipated animated sequel.
Lord later responded to Tindle, confirming that there is already a blueprint for the character, hence the possibility that the producers are considering including Japanese Spider-Man in Into the Spider-Verse 2 it is quite concrete.
Dear @philiplord, @chrizmillr, @ JDS_247 and @shinypinkbottle,
Now that you've announced Spidey 2, IF, through some miracle of miracles, Japanese Spider-Man is written into the film, I will happily design him for you.
Sincerely,
