    Sony: here are the news presented at CES 2021

    The 2021 edition of CES, while taking place in an unprecedented all-digital guise due to the health emergency deriving from the coronavirus, did not deprive itself of hosting the main protagonists of the hi-tech sector and Sony, of course, is one of them. The Japanese giant has in fact confirmed once again its presence at the very important fair and held a conference in which it presented some of the new technologies which, according to the company itself, have the task of creating a synergy between the world of creativity and high technology. After showing the most important features they animate PlayStation 5 and its controller Dualense, Sony has announced the release date of some titles for its new platform and that we report below:

    • Solar ash: June 2021;
    • Kena: Bridge of Spirits: March 2021;
    • Stray: October 2021;
    • Ghostwire: Tokyo. Little Devil Inside: July 2021;
    • Project athia: January 2022.

    Closed the PS5 parenthesis, the company showed a drone belonging to the project Airpeak. With the entry into the drone market, the Japanese giant wants to face the excessive power of DJI using theartificial intelligence in order to offer a powerful tool to video creators (but also to the world of industry) to be able to capture aerial shots of the highest quality. The project's first drone is expected to arrive by spring this year. Immediately after, Sony wanted to announce the latest developments in technology 360 Reality Audio, which allows you to map the different sound sources that make up a piece within a spherical space, giving back sensations similar to those you experience when listening to music during a live concert. Finally, the new TVs were shown Bravia XR equipped with cognitive intelligence and a new service, called Bravia Core.

    As for the new TVs, what differentiates them from the previous models is the presence of the named processor Cognitive Processor XR, which is an innovative processing system designed to replicate the ways of listening and seeing the human brain. Through a series of complex processing, the processor is able to detect which is the focal point of a given scene and automatically adjust parameters such as contrast and upscaling, also taking advantage of the deep and machine learning. Similarly, the Cognitive Processor XR is able to analyze the position of the sound within the image, in order to precisely coordinate the audio and what is on the screen, optimizing each sound in 3D surround quality. All new Bravia XR televisions are powered by the Google TV operating system and are compatible with the HDMI 2.1 standard, supporting 120 fps in 4K, the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). As per tradition, the Bravia XR range is available in various models:

    • Bravia XR Z9J 75 ″ and 85 ″ (Full LED Local Dimming);
    • Bravia XR A90J 55 ", 65" and 83 "(OLED);
    • Bravia XR A80J 55 ", 65" and 77 "(OLED).

    In addition and as already mentioned, Sony also has anBravia Core streaming service announced, which will offer access to hundreds of titles Sony Pictures leveraging technology Pure Stream which allows you to enjoy a quality very close to that of Ultra HD Blu-Ray. At this point we just have to wait for next spring to find out the prices and availability of the new top-of-the-range televisions of the Japanese giant, which certainly did not want to limit itself in presenting new impactful news this year,
