Song in the Smoke: announced the new survival game for PlayStation VR

During the past few hours Sony has announced to its public the arrival of a new title for the Playstation VR, Song in the smoke. It is precisely a virtual reality experience that nevertheless wants to focus on survival. “The sun is setting and the trees are casting their long shadows on the forest. Your fire is fading too, its light flickering in the dark. From the bushes, you hear a growl, low and hungry. How do you survive the night? " This is the same question that the boys of 17-bit, the indie studio founded in 2009 by Jake Kazdal, they want you to play while playing this brand new game of theirs. The whole was given as a launch window 2021, thus suggesting that we will have the opportunity to see it on our screens already in a few months. The title in question brings the player to a dangerous world, but thanks to PS VR, survival is in the hands of the user:

Eat by bringing food to your mouth in real life; transforms herbs into tonics by crushing them with tools and pouring them into containers, and carves wood by bringing a knife to its surface. When you need to defend yourself - or go hunting for dinner - then you can also rely on human instincts: shooting a bow, for example, is natural.

As you may already know, during the morning of today Sony has given life, through its main social networks, to a brand new PS VR Spotlight. Basically, according to what was communicated to us by the Japanese giant, starting from 16:00 on March 3 a total of 6 games will be announced every half hour on the official PlayStation Blog. Obviously, we are talking about titles all dedicated to the fascinating Sony VR technology, which unfortunately has not had the opportunity to appear in the spotlight for some time. Related to that, did you know that it was announced just now Doom 3: VR Edition?
