Solar Ash: released the first gameplay at the State of Play

Annapurna Interactive and Heart Machine showed the first gameplay video of Plot Ash, the new game from the authors of Hyper Light Drifter. The title proves to be a Adventure platformer in 3D dynamic with a very stylized artistic style, in which we control the protagonist who is able to move freely and quickly in the game world. This simple but difficult idea led the team to create their second-ever work, which is preparing to enter the homes of players in the current platforms of Sony Interacative Entertainment and those of the Epic Game Store.

The trailer in question, which can be viewed within the article, is narrated by one of the developers who shows in detail the style of play in addition to the simplicity and speed of the gameplay. The player is required to explore a surreal world with Ray, a strange man who possesses abilities beyond the ordinary. The video even shows the battle against one of bosses of the work, which proves to be a kind of skeletal dragon which protects an important goal that the protagonist must achieve to complete his mission. In fact, as it is stated about the product in question:

Solar Ash is Heart Machine's vision of the Adventure Platformer genre: giant spaces, freedom of movement, dynamic combat and high-risk battles against huge beasts. It all comes together to bring players what we believe is incredibly unique and, above all, fun. This game is created with love by the entire development team, we are excited to bring it to PS5 and PS4 later this year.

Solar Ash is currently slated to land on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Epic Game Store by the end of the current year. Unfortunately, the various companies have not confirmed any specific release date, but confirming 2021 as the original announcement has now taken place
