Today Pearl Abyss announced that Shadow Arena, the new fantasy-style battle royale, will be available worldwide on Steam in less than a month. The game will in fact be accessible from 21 Maggio 2020 and it will be totally free. The closed beta will support the following languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and Chinese (simplified and traditional). Unfortunately, always in games Pearl Abyss the Spanish language is not supported, although there are many of their fans among our compatriots.
Shadow Arena will catapult 40 players in a vast map full of enemies who will fight to the death. Players will be able to choose between 9 playable characters, each with a different fighting style. To reach the top, players will need to kill monsters and collect rewards to upgrade their gear and earn experience points. However, perform the skills flawlessly and use evasive tactics they will be crucial in securing victory. Originally born from a Black Desert mod, Shadow Arena it was later developed into a game of its own, developing into a new typology taking inspiration from genres MOBA, Battle Royale ed MMO.
Shadow Arena will have three game modes: Solo, Duo e IA. While in Solo players will be able to show off their individual skills, strategy will be of crucial importance in team mode to clinch the victory. The mode Duo will allow players to enjoy a different cooperative experience that will create a new style of PvP. Finally, players will be able to hone their skills against the Bot mode AI.
