During the presentation of the Disney Inventor Day 2020 the company officially announced the arrival of Secret Invasion, the new television series coming to the streaming platform Disney + which will enrich the already vast home cinema universe The Marvel movies. Secret Invasion sees the spy return to the small screen Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson and the Skrull shapeshifter Talos, interpreted by Ben Mendelsohn. Both characters previously appeared on the big screen within Captain Marvel, where they allied with the cosmic superheroine Carol Danvers di B, and again in Spider-Man: Far From Home with Tom Holland and Zendaya.
Secret Invasion is based on the comic crossover of the same name published by Marvel Comics between April and November 2008, in which the heroes of the Marvel Universe discover that some of their friends and foes have been secretly replaced by Skrull, an alien race. shapeshifter intent on conquering planet earth.
