During the Play Anime Live, event of Bandai Namco aired these days, producer Keita Iizuka talked about Scarlet nexus and thus released new details on what concerns the development of the game and its creation. Iizuka explained that the title is based on the desire to tell a story about members of a group with exceptional powers, who use their unique characteristics to achieve certain objectives by cooperating as a professional team. In the realization the development studio has exploited the experience accumulated thanks to the series Tales of, especially what concerns the techniques of storytelling and character development. As for the game world, it will be a union of futuristic elements and atmospheres linked to the past and to Japanese culture. Speaking of the characters, the producer stated the following:
All characters have parts that are organized to reflect their personalities and characteristics. Plus, when they use their superpowers, you can see them wearing their hoods or having other visual elements hiding their faces. It is a lasting agony that is paid as a price for having extremely strong powers.
Bandai Namco has also announced a mobile application called Scarlet Nexus Immersive AR Experience, on which not many details have been provided but of which you can see a short teaser at the bottom of the news. Scarlet Nexus will be available soon on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. At this link you can take a look at our preview of the work.
