Scarlet Nexus is shown in a new gameplay video

On the occasion of the launch of Xbox Series X / S, Bandai Namco Entertainment gave players an in-depth look at the gameplay of his next project, Scarlet nexus. In addition to the extended gameplay footage, which you can conveniently find on the cover, the development team members have also answered a number of questions their fans have asked over the months, from art direction to party mechanics. As you well know, the celebratory launch of the next-gen consoles of Microsoft products took place last November 10, but only in the last few days the Redmond house has decided to share on its YouTube channel some of the highlights of the original live stream, including the Scarlet Nexus showcase, in which two members joined the discussion of the team working on the game, the director Kenji anabuki and the manufacturer Keita Iizuka, who have analyzed part of what is shown in the video.

The new game sequence, which we remember you can conveniently find on the cover, follows a player who controls the female protagonist of Scarlet nexus, Kasane, and takes her on a tour through New Himuka, the city where the game takes place. The full-bodied footage allows us not only to take a closer look at the game location, but also to observe in depth the combat system of the title. From what we have seen, it would seem that the new Action RPG from Bandai Namco Studios allows players to face monsters scattered throughout the town of New Himuka, and at the same time fight against virtual enemies in a digital realm not yet known, all in a graphic style similar to anime.

From what is shown in the new video, much of the game will be based on building a team that will help us counter enemies within an arena. Furthermore, the work appears to have a skill tree, known as "Brain Map", that will allow players to unlock new skills and special moves as we progress through the game. At the moment we do not know when the new action RPG of the Japanese giant will see the light, but Scarlet nexus is expected to debut on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC in the 2021.
