RTX 3000: NVIDIA officially announces the new video cards

The new event of NVIDIA, a well-known manufacturer of video cards for the PC market, today showed us the lineup of the new video cards that will make their debut in the current year. Let's start with the series RTX 3000 with Ampere architecture, consisting of the tabs: GeForce RTX 3700, GeForce RTX 3800 e GeForce RTX 3900, on which we have already discovered many details, regarding their possibilities in the field of PCs and their launch price, which is however still expressed in dollars.

All cards are designed to be more powerful than the current generation top of the range, the RTX 2080Ti, as well as to allow the use of Ray Tracing for compatible titles on the market and for those that will make their debut in the next few months. Without getting lost in small talk, then we see all the features of the RTX 3000 series, which while offering a notable generational leap comes with really low prices, obviously considering the graphics card market, which will obviously be supported by new optimization technologies related to artificial intelligence.

    • RTX 3070: the launch date for the "low" range of the new series is still uncertain, with the debut window being that of October this year. The product will come out at the price of 499$ (435 € excluding VAT). Although it is the weakest of the three cards, as already mentioned we are talking about a product capable of overcoming the already powerful RTX 2080Ti, which by itself can upset the PC market. We find in this case 5888 CUDA Cores, a boost clock of 1.73Ghz e 8GB GDDR6 of memory.
    • RTX 3080: the mid-range of the new family will make its debut on September 17 for the price of $ 699 (€ 606 excluding VAT), and will be able to double the performance of the RTX 2080, which is also sold nowadays at a higher price. This shows up with 8704 CUDA Cores, a boost clock of 1.71Ghz e 10GB GDDR6X of memory.
    • RTX 3090: what promises to be the best video card ever, at least in the consumer bracket, will allow you to play in 8K to 60 frames per second, even adding Ray Tracing to the package. This will debut on September 24th at the price of 1499$ (€ 1300 excluding VAT), guaranteeing 10496 CUDA Cores, a boost clock of 1.7Ghz e 24GB GDDR6X of memory.
