According to what emerged on ResetEra, Video Games Deluxe, the Australian team behind LA Noire: The VR Case Files, would have revealed via an announcement of Linkedin, to seek staff for a new project open-world AAA that takes advantage of augmented reality. The post doesn't mention any revealing details, other than that the title in question would still be in development for Rockstar Games. We report in detail what is present in the job announcement:
After finishing our work with LA Noire: The VR Case Files, we are preparing a new project, an AAA VR open world title for Rockstar. 2020 marks our seventh year of exclusive Rockstar work in Sydney and we are thrilled to embark on this groundbreaking project. At the moment we don't know if the project the team is working on Video Games Deluxe be it a new IP in augmented reality, or a “simple” VR port of an existing Rockstar game. We remind you that, according to what emerged from some rumors in recent weeks, the well-known US company is already working on the highly anticipated GTA 6, which should debut on consoles and PCs in 2023.
