Road to E3: Bandai Namco, from Naruto to Code Vein

Denying it would be useless, the touch of Bandai Namco it is always recognized. Strengthened by productions with oriental tones, the development house is one of the most anticipated on the E3 stage. Most of his games are synonymous with quality, while some are little gems to be discovered. So here we offer you our expectations regarding Japanese society, which as we all know really has a lot of meat on the fire.

Code Vein

One of the most anticipated games on the E3 stage is certainly this production with a strong Japanese tone. After the great success of the various Souls, Bandai Namco inevitably finds himself looking for a worthy replacement. It appears so almost by chance Code Vein, a game totally different from the From works, but which in part shares its soul. The title is in fact a souls like with a post apocalyptic setting. The story is about a boy who will wake up without any memory in an unknown area, or a destroyed city. After fully regaining consciousness, he will realize that IO was next to him, a woman who knows the protagonist and he knows well that thanks to his powers the damaged sources of blood can be reactivated. The latter create pearls of blood that are based on a real hierarchy. The weakest are treated as slaves, so the two main characters are captured by a group of Revenants who will force them to look for pearls of blood hidden underground. You will soon discover that the Revenants are missing and mad, you will be forced to find the cause that infected the blood and save the day.

New Level-5 game

We know very well that Ni No Kuni 2 has just been released, which among other things you can see how we found it in our review, but the games Level-5 in the end they are never enough. The development house over the years has always been pushed by Bandai NamcoI don't think their relationship will falter in the next few years. That said, the software house has proved to be a master in creating various universes and action RPGs, so we hope for a sensational surprise.

New Tales of

The saga of Tales of it is one of the longest seen in recent years, so we expect a new chapter to be presented at the conference. Following the false line of Final Fantasy, each episode of the series can be approached individually without problems, as the various titles do not share anything except the universe in question. Unfortunately, however, the series is not successful in the West, quite the opposite for what concerns the land of the rising sun. Despite this, however, there would be points that would help the title to emerge also in our continent, such as rejuvenating an outdated technical sector, or modifying some gameplay element to make it less rigid and more usable. We would therefore need a product that not only attracts fans of role-playing games or the brand, but also new players curious to find out what this brand has to offer.

God Eater 3

God Eater 3 it is a souls like in all respects, with gameplay elements, however, that differentiate it from Miyazaki's works and make it in a certain sense unique. The Earth is no longer as humans knew it, creatures called Aragami have destroyed everything that our planet had to offer. These monsters can be killed using the God Arc, or biomechanical hybrid weapons developed by a company called Fentit. The God Eaters are therefore simply men who have received as a gift or have been cursed by the new versions of the God Arc. Before the events narrated in the game, many regions have become inhospitable wastes, the fault of strange ash-like particles that are able to pulverize what they encounter in their path. The few survivors of this strange entity have built underground cities called ports. In these places, however, there are some new Aragami, more powerful and more ruthless than all their previous ones. For the God Eaters it will be the ultimate challenge, they will have to give everything to stop them.

New Little Nightmares style game

Who among us did not appreciate Litte Nightmares? The game is set in a ship that offers its guests delicious meats such as children and other living beings. The protagonist is a nine-year-old girl named Six, the story of the game tells of her escape and all the horrors that this young woman will have to face. The title was particularly appreciated by audiences and critics, it seems obvious to us to say that the work done by Tarsier Studios was of great depth, so we hope to see a similar product but that tells another plot with different but still original ideas.

New content for Tekken 7

As we know Tekken 7, at the time of release, it suffered from a severe lack of content. Over time, everything has been filled, or almost, but now the time has come for the qualitative leap. New introductions as alternative or unreleased modalities, they would definitely please fans, so as to break the monotony of the game itself. Unfortunately, this kind of products are now considered niche, adding new products constantly and, we hope, free, would greatly increase the life of the game.

Soul Calibur VI

Souls Calibur VI is definitely one of the most anticipated games of this year. The return of a historic brand like this has certainly caused a sensation among fans, for this reason we are all curious to see how the final product will be. As we know the saga is much more accessible to newbies to the genre compared to a Tekken, but despite this the title is also very technical for the more practical players.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker

The title is exactly halfway between fighting and platforming. From the released videos the gameplay appears to be dynamic and fun, albeit slightly cumbersome. The fights will take place in large areas entirely passable, but be careful not to end up in the void as it will cost you a defeat. The game is entirely focused on four versus four multiplayer, to the delight of all fans of the brand. The idea of Bandai Namco is to let all users experience the real clashes between ninjas, made up of forbidden blows and secret techniques. We hope that the long-awaited release date can be released during the conference.

These are our hopes regarding Bandai Namco, what are yours instead?
