    Resident Evil Village: new details emerged from a TGS demo

    Capcom recently showed behind closed doors a small playable demo of Resident evil village, or better known to fans of the famous horror saga of the Japanese company as RE8, revealing some new information about the game. During the live streaming of the TGS 2020 no video dedicated to the title was shown but Eiko Kano, one of the panel guests, had the chance to try a small portion of Resident Evil Village. Unfortunately, the demo in question it was not shown at any point in the event, but despite the test took place behind closed doors, they are some interesting information emerged regarding the first few bars of the game. Below is a brief summary of the main news from TGS 2020:



    • At the beginning of the game there will be a battle with a "very strong" enemy.
    • Some of the enemies in the early stages will be naked, although we will find each other during the winter season.
    • Enemies in Resident Evil 8 will behave differently from RE7.
    • Killing enemies will produce an item.
    • Players will be able to use environmental items such as a library to fight enemies.
    • Enemies can also be stunned using guns or environmental items.
    • The opening section will see Ethan flee a village, while the enemies are chasing him.
    • During the early stages of the game, part of the village can catch fire, depending on the player's action.
    • Already at the beginning we can find a rifle.
    • Tsuyoshi Kanda confirmed that what was shown was just the start of the game.
    • Eiko Kano said there was a lot of action at this early stage.
    • Items dropped by enemies can be turned into ammo or other items.

    At the moment we don't know when the brand new chapter of the iconic franchise will see the light Capcom, though Resident evil village is expected to debut on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X and Series S in 2021. Also, during the Tokyo Game Show 2020 the Japanese company has confirmed its intention to bring the new horror adventure of Ethan Winters e Chris Redfield also on PS4 and Xbox One.
