Resident Evil Re: Verse shows itself in action in new gameplay

Capcom has been trying, in recent times, to render the multiplayer a key component of its flagship brand, Resident Evil. After trying years ago to walk this road up PlayStation 2 with Residient Evil: Outbreak, with the launch of Resident evil village we witnessed a new attempt that took the form of Resident Evil Re: Verse. The multiplayer mode of Village will consist of a free-for-all, giving us the opportunity to take on the role of the main protagonists of the saga in a gigantic battle for survival. With a brand new trailer of about 5 minutes, Capcom today showed us new details on the gameplay for this interesting mode, created to celebrate the anniversary of the series.

In this short video we can see how the artistic direction will be predominant in Resident Evil Re: Verse, characterized by a comic and particular style. The trailer shows Claire Redfield which takes down various undead and famous villains from previous titles, including Jack Baker's Resident Evil 7. The most interesting feature is certainly the possibility of transforming ourselves into powerful monsters at our death. The kind of villain we're going to play will depend on the number of T Virus samples that we managed to collect during the game. This interesting multiplayer component will certainly be a welcome addition to all those who buy Resident Evil Village, and we are sure it will be a very interesting way to keep users active on the game, waiting for the arrival of probable DLCs.

As happened for Resident Evil 7, in fact, Capcom could most likely decide to expand the story of the eighth chapter with additional content, in addition to introducing, perhaps, its own new DLCs also for the Re: Verse mode. So we just have to wait until next May to get our hands on the title and challenge our friends as the fearsome Nemesis.
