Resident Evil Infinite Darkness: Netflix Trailer Released

Resident Evil Infinite Darkness: Netflix Trailer Released

Like a bolt from the blue, Netflix presented the first trailer of Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, new production coming to Netflix totally in CGI. The video, which lasts about 1 minute, appeared on the Portuguese channel of the streaming service, and will probably be shown on the others over the next few days.

We do not know if it is a movie or a TV series, but it certainly seems to fit into the videogame saga: the characters seem to be taken from the "classics" rather than from new ones, thanks also to the Leon S. Kennedy at the end. It could probably link to the three CGI movies already tied to the video game's plot: the girl in the trailer appears to be Claire Redfield, and also the style used is very close to those productions. However, nothing prevents Netflix from being able to tell a new story with the same characters but different dynamics.

We do not even know if this is part of the project already advertised months ago (which transformed everything into an original product very close to the teen drama) or if it is a new thing. The release date of Resident Evil Infinite Darkness is set for 2021, and only time will tell us more about the project. We leave you at the trailer at the top of the article.
