The world of video games and that of cinema and television have often and willingly walked hand in hand and it is certainly not a rare thing to see films or TV series based on important videogame sagas such as, for example, Silent Hill, The Last of Us o resident evil. The latter is certainly one of the franchises that more than any other has been able to benefit from the advantages offered by the big screen thanks to the series of live-action movie that they had as a protagonist Milla Jovovich. Apparently, despite the conclusion of the aforementioned cycle of films, the eyes of the entertainment industry remained on the series of Capcom which, news of the last few hours, is preparing to debut on the small screen thanks to Netflix.
In fact, as announced directly by the streaming service via a post on Twitter (which you can see at the bottom of the article), a unpublished series based on Resident Evil. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story will be told through two different ones timelines. In the first, the two XNUMX-year-old sisters Jade e Billie Wesker they will move in the height of their adolescence to the industrial town of New Raccoon City. The two sisters will soon realize, however, that as they spend their days in the new city, increasingly ambiguous facts and events will take place and will even come to suspect that their father could hide disturbing secrets capable of putting the whole world at risk. The second timeline instead will be set fifteen years later in the future and shows thehumanity now reduced to the limit, with less than 15 million healthy people and beyond 6 billion infected with the T-virus, between humans and animals. Jade, now XNUMX, must survive in this devastated world and find out what lies behind the secrets that concern her, her father and her sister.
In the absence of other news we just have to wait for more information about this unexpected and interesting series based on one of the most loved franchises ever.
