Resident Evil 8: cross-gen and first person for the insider Dusk Golem

The rumors continue to rise up Resident Evil 8, highly anticipated title that according to the insider Dusk Golem will be announced tomorrow, during the event dedicated to new games PlayStation 5. The user continues to provide details on the new work of Capcom, and even if it is in no way a question of certainties, we could discover much more taken. This time we talk about details on the cross-play first person view, as detailed in the Tweet attached below.

I've answered this multiple times, but I still get asked about it daily so just tweeting this to forward an answer henceforth:
Resident Evil 8 is first-person, it plays similarly to RE7 but with enhancements.
It's a cross-gen game, you can play it on current & next-gen consoles.

I've replied many times, but they keep asking me daily, so I'm posting a tweet to provide an answer for now. Resident Evil 8 is first-person, similar to Resident Evil 7 but with improvements. It is a cross-gen video game, you can play it on this generation and the next.

Considering when stated it is also possible that the protagonist of the work is again Ethan, who with his role in the reboot managed to convince a substantial part of the community, who would now appreciate a Resident Evil 8 set again in the first person. We hope to find out more information very soon, as we do not yet know what the software house is working on, and it is likely that its plans will be officially declared very soon.
