According to the portal videogameschronicle.com, the works related to the development of Resident Evil 4 Remake would have suffered some slowdowns recently, which could delay the publication of the highly anticipated chapter (one of the most loved of the horror series created by Capcom) by postponing the launch date a not before the 2023. Apparently, the team responsible for the development of the Resident Evil 3 Remake, M-Two, has seen its role drastically reduced in the development of Resident Evil 4 by Capcom itself.
The two studies, according to rumors published online for a few minutes, they would not have been able to find a meeting point until today between the two different visions regarding how this Remake should be developed. For M-Two, Resident Evil 4 Remake should be as faithful as possible to the original chapter, while Capcom would like reinterpret many aspects, between dialogues and settings. In essence, the Japanese development house would like to expand the gameplay experience of the original chapter, while M-Two would like to remain as faithful as possible to what was seen in the 2005 (year of publication of RE 4). Resident Evil 4 would certainly not be the only chapter in the Capcom horror series to enjoy a dedicated Remake. This has already happened for the first three chapters of the series, all currently available on the platforms of what - by now, can be defined as the old generation (PlayStation 4, Xbox One).
